At The Herbalist, we want you to shop with confidence. While we do not offer refunds unless required by law, we are happy to provide product exchanges in line with our policy below.
Eligibility for Exchange
- Products may be exchanged within 14 days of delivery.
- Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging, with all tags, labels, and accessories included.
- To request an exchange, you must provide a valid proof of purchase (order confirmation email or receipt).
Non-Exchangeable Items
For reasons of safety, hygiene, and product integrity, the following items cannot be exchanged:
- Opened or used consumable goods (e.g., essential oils, skincare, wellness products).
- Gift cards, discounted items, or final sale products.
- Any product not returned in its original condition.
Exchange Process
- Contact our Customer Care team at herbalistwellness@gmail.com within 14 days of receiving your order, clearly stating your order number and the product you wish to exchange.
- Our team will review your request and provide instructions for returning the item.
- Once the return is received and inspected, we will send you the replacement item or a store credit (if the requested product is unavailable).
Shipping Costs
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the exchange is due to a damaged, defective, or incorrect item sent by us.
- In cases of incorrect or defective items, we will cover the cost of return shipping and send a replacement at no additional charge.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with supporting photos. We will arrange a free replacement or store credit.
Provincial Consumer Rights
This Exchange Policy does not limit your rights under the Consumer Protection Acts applicable in your province (e.g., Ontario’s Consumer Protection Act, 2002). If the law grants you additional rights, those rights will apply.
